The community was there when I needed it and I was never judged. I felt like I belonged. I was given an opportunity to learn new tasks and to become an employable person. It was a very painful time for me and I left there feeling better. I remember when Fred gave me a free weekend at the farm for my birthday the first year I went to the island.
