SPECIAL: SATURDAY, JUNE 5 – SPRING CLEANUP

All Waupoos volunteers must obtain a police check for volunteering with the vulnerable sector. Waupoos will provide a letter that will enable a volunteer to obtain the police check without cost.

Volunteers needed for …

Seasonal:

  • Bicycle repair
  • Gardening
  • Property maintenance, eg. raking, snow shoveling/snowblowing, rink maintenance, brush pick-up, fence repair, trail clearing

Ongoing:

  • Building maintenance, eg. door repair, installing baseboards, patching holes, painting, siding, flooring
    Carpentry
  • Committees - Board of Directors, Families, Liturgical/Spiritual, Communications, Fundraising
  • Cottage/Lodge cleaning
  • Drivers for cottagers
  • Electrical (professional)
  • Furniture repair/painting – eg. kitchen chairs/dressers/picnic tables
  • Host Families
  • Mechanical (professional)
  • Plumbing (professional)
  • Veterinarian (cat spaying/neutering)

We also accept donations of good quality new or used sporting equipment, bikes, craft supplies or house wears.
