Volunteer
Are you looking for a way to give back to your community? Waupoos Family Farm is a great place to use your time and talents to serve others. Below are some of the ways you can volunteer at Waupoos:
Farm Clean-Up Days
Waupoos holds annual Fall and Spring Clean-Up Days.
Clean-up days in Spring and Fall are dedicated to preparing the farm for changes of season and accomplishing tasks that require larger groups of volunteers.
For the dates of other events or clean-up days, you can also check our Events page.
Spring Cleanup Day 2023 will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023
Join a Committee
We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our standing committees.
If you have an interest in communications, marketing, fundraising, capital projects, volunteer recruitment, or event planning, please consider contributing your talents to one of our committees or our Board of Directors.

Host a Cottage Session
Each session at Waupoos is organized by the Farm Management Team and a host family.
The host family is provided with their own on-site accommodations for the duration of the session. Their responsibilities include leading activities (crafts, games, chapel, etc.), providing snacks, helping with the potluck, and interacting with our visiting families. Contact us for more info about hosting opportunities.
Corporate Work Days
If your office team is looking for a way to give back to the community, consider spending a day at Waupoos Family Farm.
Volunteering at Waupoos not only benefits the farm, it also builds team spirit and camaraderie among the groups who serve here. The Farm Management Team provides volunteer groups with a list of tasks according to the current needs of the farm. Tasks include painting, cleaning, repairs, landscaping, etc. If your group has specific skills, please let us know! There is lots of work to be done on the farm and we always welcome helping hands!
Summer Volunteers
Candidates are encouraged to apply for a position and to commit to volunteering one day a week (Monday to Saturday) for 6-8 weeks.
Tasks include assisting with programming, cottage clean-up, laundry, animal care, gardening, weeding, painting, crafts, outdoor games etc. Interview and police check required. Must be a minimum of 14 years to apply.
High School Community Service
Are you a high school student looking to complete your required community service hours?
Waupoos is a great place to volunteer! The Farm Management Team oversees all student volunteers, assigning jobs and supervising their completion.
